Knappogue Whiskey

The year 1995 shows more the characteristics of a whiskey produced in a cask of bourbon than the year 1994, which makes the aromatic pallet more complex and the whiskey softer and more round. The purists, amateur enthusiasts of Malts, will state that malts are better produced in old casks, used several times in order to minimize the influence of wood, thus allowing to taste the true character of the distillery. Others will state that the interaction of the whiskey with the first-time use of the cask will strengthen the aromatic complexity, and that is my opinion.
