◊ Nose: Fine, elegant. The first nose reveals white flesh fruits (peach, nectarine) that mingle with malty and finely peated flavors. When aerated, the nose becomes floral (rose, acacia), then reveals honeyed notes with peat that gains in power. Mouth:

◊ Palate: Rich, lively. The mouth, in line with the nose, is fruity, ample with a beautiful roundness where malty and peaty flavors blend perfectly. The mid-palate expresses acacia honey, almonds, ripe fruits (apple, pear) before giving way to vegetable peat.

◊ Finish: Precise, elegant. Sweetness accompanies this subtle and balanced finish. Deliciously smoky notes mingle with fine vanilla and peaty flavors.

Unlike a traditional distillery, Chapter 7 is an independent bottler founded in Scotland and specialising in the selection of rare and expressive whiskey and rum casks. Its name refers to the idea of telling a story through each barrel, each “chapter” being a unique and limited edition. Chapter 7 goes through the cellars of recognized distilleries to identify barrels with exceptional aromatic potential, then elevates, blends or refines them with precision until reaching the desired balance. Their artisanal and confidential approach favors quality over volume: each release is numbered, often from a single barrel, and bottled without any tricks, to reveal the authentic character of the selected spirit.
