Chateau Valandraud

Confidence by Valandraud is an accessible Saint-Émilion Grand Cru that appeals to wine lovers as well as the most demanding.

Château Valandraud is the result of the considerable work of a couple passionate about wine, Jean-Luc Thunevin and Murielle Andraud. In 1989, they acquired a small plot of 0.6 hectares in the Saint-Emilion valley between Pavie-Macquin and La Clotte. The origin of the name Valandraud is both geographical (Val for Fongaban valley) and sentimental (Andraud for the last name Murielle). Thus was born Château Valandraud. The property is now based in Saint Etienne de Lisse and was promoted to 1st Grand Cru Classé in the 2012 Saint-Emilion Grand Crus ranking.
