Franc 6

2021
Red

Vin de France

Made by the owners of Château de Gazin, Alegria and Georges-Antoine Robert, this wine comes from vines that have been in biological conversion since 2019, no chemical products or pesticides are used. It should also be noted that vinification is done without the addition of sulphites. Cabernet Franc is particularly popular on the limestone slopes of Fronsadais, which is why it is the only grape variety that is used to make Franc 6 wine.

Seductive by its freshness and fruit, Cabernet Franc highlights a gourmet bouquet of red fruits accompanied by a nice tension. It is rare to find a 100% Cabernet Franc wine in Gironde

Château du Gazin

an estate rooted in its land that seeks to produce, every year, the best of its vines

The Château du Gazin estate is located north-east of Bordeaux, 5 km from Libourne, very close to the Saint-Emilion and Pomerol appellations. It clings to the slopes of a superb valley that cuts into the Fronsadais plateau. The estate is committed to making the most of its land, which is why it has been working towards the biological transition since 2019 By using sulphite in its cuvees, Château du Gazin and Franc6 keep all the freshness and authenticity of the grapes.
