AOC Pessac-Léognan

Les Jardins de Compostelle is a wine from a small vineyard of fourteen hectares perfectly located in the AOC Pessac-Léognan appellation.

The typicity of the grave soil and the clay-gravelly subsoil offers structured, velvety and elegant wines.

Vinification begins with a careful selection of the best plots during the harvest. The bunches are then put into thermoregulated tanks for three weeks in order to extract the color and tannins through frequent pumping over.

Les Jardins de Compostelle

Les Jardins de Compostelle bottles the characteristic soil of Pessac-Léognan and their balance

Owner of vineyards since 1937, Maison Mähler-Besse decided to extend its range to all Protected Designations of Origin (AOP) in Bordeaux. In order to achieve this objective, based on the wine and viticulture expertise of our teams, we conduct a rigorous and relevant selection of independent Bordeaux winemakers. This is how Les Jardins de Compostelle was born; a balanced and high-quality Pessac-Léognan.
