Margaux

Madame de Monbrison reflects the excellence of the Graves region highlighted by the technical team of Château Monbrison located on the plateau at the exit of the town of Arsac towards Margaux.

Coming from a 15.5-hectare vineyard in the Margaux appellation, Madame de Monbrison is distinguished by a blend of mainly Cabernet Sauvignon complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

All the plots are treated using sustainable management, and experiments are under way on some plots with a view to the next conversion of the vineyard to organic.

Château Monbrison

an ode to a unique land, an ancestral know-how that values each vintage in the Margaux appellation

Madame de Monbrison comes from an exceptional soil, a perfect combination between soil and climate: Pyrenean gravel, several meters thick, made up of gravel and pebbles of various sizes, offers excellent natural drainage and good fertility to the vine. The relatively humid climate, due to the proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and the immediate vicinity of the banks of the Gironde, combines the mildness of winter with those of the beautiful seasons, and the moderate rainfall brings growth and good health to the vine. All the plots are mainly planted with Cabernet Sauvignons, then Merlot. A small quantity of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdots complete the vineyard's grape variety.
