Oakville, Napa Valley

Realized in the late 1970s, Opus One was the dream of two men: Baron Philippe de Rothschild and the famous American wine producer Robert Mondavi. Together, they decided to combine their knowledge and passion for wine in a single bottle: Opus One.

This Napa Valley vineyard known throughout the world now has 68 hectares planted with traditional Bordeaux grape varieties.

Opus One represents an alliance between two dynasties but also between two styles.
